Wong Named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Elise Wong has been selected as the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today.

Wong was part of a defensive unit that allowed just two shots in the first half against Monmouth, a game where the senior also scored a goal. The Tigers' defense shined in the second half against No. 13 Delaware, not allowing a shot over the last seven minutes of action, picking up a 4-2 win.

No. 5 Princeton gets right back at it tomorrow against No. 3 Maryland at Bedford Field. The game will start at 6 p.m. and be streamed on ESPN+.
