September 22, 2018 | Field Hockey

Three different Tigers, Sophia Tornetta, MaryKate Neff and Jane Donio-Enscoe, scored in the contest. Tornetta has already matched her goal total from last season with four and now has 24 career tallies. Neff's five goals this season leads the squad while her 11 points are tied for the team-high.
Â
In the ninth minute Hannah Davey picked up a turnover from Dartmouth, dribbled along the right side of the circle and found Tornetta in front of the cage for the goal.
Clara Roth had a great scoring chance as she found empty space in the circle, but her shot was high over the cage in the 19th minute. The Tigers peppered the Dartmouth goalie with shots following a corner a few minutes later, but two were stopped and another blocked. With five minutes left in the first half, Annabeth Donovan sent an attempt that was wide, but just missed the stick of Tornetta for another goal. Princeton finished with a 13-1 shot advantage after 35 minutes.Tigers Goal! The senior captain picks up her fourth of the year! The senior captain was looking for her second of the contest as she sent a bouncing shot towards the goalie, but it was denied 10 minutes into the second stanza. On Princeton's second corner of the half, Neff knocked in an attempt from Julianna Tornetta, giving the home unit an insurance tally.
With four minutes to go, Ali McCarthy sent a ball on the cage that was saved, but the big rebound came to Donio-Enscoe, who blasted it through.Tigers Goal!
