Motherway Named NWPC Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Billy Motherway was honored as the Northeast Water Polo Conference Rookie of the Week.
The freshman made his collegiate debut in impressive fashion, making 10 saves in the second half vs. Johns Hopkins on Saturday. He picked up his first victory of his career vs. Wagner later that day, making nine saves. He also had five saves against Navy on Sunday.
The Tigers host the Princeton Invitational this week (Sept. 7-9). Princeton will battle Stanford (11 a.m.), Santa Clara (2:45 p.m.) on Friday, Cal Baptist (10 a.m.) on Saturday and Air Force (7:30 a.m.) and UCLA (12:30 p.m.) on Sunday.
