Men's Tennis Team to Open ITA Northeast Regional Thursday at Penn

The ITA Northeast Regional will begin Thursday at Penn for the Princeton men's tennis team, which will have eight players competing in singles and three pairs competing in doubles.
The tournament will begin Thursday with two rounds of qualifying singles beginning at 9 a.m., with Tigers Justin Barki and Kabir Sarita needing to win two matches to advance through to the main singles draw.
Friday will feature the first round of singles, from which second-seeded Karl Poling, fifth-seeded Ryan Seggerman, 15th-seeded Damian Rodriguez, Davey Roberts and Will Peters have a bye. Bill Duo will compete on the first day, as will Barki or Sarita if they advance through the qualifying draw. Doubles will begin with the first round, with 13th-seeded Poling and Rodriguez competing and second-seeded Payton Holden and Seggerman and fifth-seeded Barki and Thomas Bosancic getting a bye to Saturday.
Saturday will see the singles round of 64 and the doubles rounds of 32 and 16, with Sunday having the singles rounds of 32 and 16 and the doubles quarters. Monday will feature the singles quarters and doubles semis, and Tuesday will have the singles semis and finals and the doubles finals.
Last year, Rodriguez and Seggerman advanced to the doubles semis, and Rodriguez made the singles quarters.
