Princeton Tied At The Top Of Ivy Preseason Poll

The two best in the Ivy League over the past half-decade have been predicted to finish in similar spots according to the conference's preseason poll.

Princeton and Penn collected 125 voting points to share the top spot in the Ivy preseason media poll, the league announced today. The Tigers had 10 first-place votes while the Quakers had seven.

Harvard (95) and Yale (90) were third and fourth. Cornell (60), Columbia (47), Dartmouth (47) and Brown finish off the poll.

Princeton and Penn have met in the Ivy League Tournament final in each of the past three years. These two rivals have combined to win the last 10 conference crowns with the Tigers winning seven of the them.

The Tigers open up the 2019-20 season on Nov. 5 vs. Rider. Ivy action starts on Jan. 11 at Penn. Harvard will host the 2020 Ivy League Tournament on March 14th and 15th.
