Princeton Baseball Mourns The Loss of Bob Tufts ’77

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton baseball team mourns the loss of Bob Tufts '77, who passed away yesterday after a long battle with myeloma. He was 63 years old.
Tufts had 16 wins during his time at Princeton and currently sits 12th all-time. He was drafted in the 12th round by the San Francisco Giants in the 1977 MLB Draft. He reached the Major Leagues with the Giants in 1981 and then spent two more seasons with the Kansas City Royals.
