ROCK HILL – The Princeton Baseball Team fell to the Winthrop Eagles, 11-0, at Founders Field on Wednesday afternoon.

The Eagles got the scoring started in the first inning with two runs. After a single run in the third, Winthrop added three more in the fourth. The home team added onto its lead in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings.

Grant Werdersheim had a hit to pace the Tigers' offense in the loss.

Princeton finishes the Spring Trip with a four-game set at Wofford (Mar. 13-15).
