Chittenden Leads Tigers as Princeton Places Fourth at Heps

Melia Chittenden led Princeton with a sixth-place finish as the Tiger women's cross country team finished fourth at the Ivy League Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
Columbia won the title with 57 points, 32 better than Harvard and Penn and 33 in front of Princeton.
Chittenden, a junior, finished the 6,000-meter race in 21:16.6, 31 seconds behind winner Kayley Delay of Yale, who won by 3.6 seconds in front of Columbia's Katie Wasserman. The finish earned Chittenden first-team All-Ivy League honors a year after she earned second-team recognition with an eighth-place finish. Sophomore Page Lester was a second-team honoree for her first All-Ivy recognition, finishing 11th.
