Women’s Tennis Finishes Strong at June Stewart Invitational

RESULTS
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Princeton University women's tennis team ended the June Stewart Invitational on a high note Sunday, winning nine out of eleven matches at the Currey Tennis Center on the campus of Vanderbilt University.
In singles, the Tigers won six of its seven matches. Daria Frayman took down Anna Ross of Vanderbilt 6-4, 6-1 and Brianna Shvets overcame Vanderbilt's Emma Kurtz 6-3, 7-1. Zoe Howard defeated No. 66 Amanda Meyer of Vanderbilt 6-4, 6-0 and No. 107 Stephanie Schrage earned a 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (7) victory over Vanderbilt's Dasha Kourkina. Michelle Sorokko came out on top 6-0, 6-0 against Kate Popova of Lipscomb.
In doubles, Nathalie Rodilosso and Grace Joyce earned an 8-4 victory over Zoe Barnard and Alexis of Middle Tennessee State University. The duo of Schrage and Sorokko overcame Lipcomb's Liza Diachenko and Eleanor Chapman 8-4 while Howard and Frayman took down Kate Popova and Emma Zakordoniac of Lipscomb, 8-1.
