Mitchell Honored as Ivy Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ellie Mitchell picked up her first career Ivy weekly honor as she was named the Ivy Rookie of the Week, the conference announced today.

Mitchell opened up last week with 11 points along with a team-best seven rebounds, four assists and four steals in the Tigers' win over Hartford. Against Penn State, she followed with seven points and seven more caroms as the Tigers won their fifth straight game. Â

The freshman has played in every game this season, contributing 5.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest for Princeton. The Tigers head to the Midwest to take on Missouri (Dec. 18) and St. Louis (Dec. 20).
