Princeton Now Earning Votes In AP Top-25 Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the first time this season, the Princeton Tigers are receiving votes in Associated Press Top-25, the news organization announced today.

The Tigers earned seven voting points, tied for 31st. Princeton went 2-0 in its Midwest trip, taking down Missouri and St. Louis last week. The Tigers held Missouri, an SEC school, to its lowest point total in program history in a 68-33 decision. Bella Alarie registered her 36th career double-double, a new Princeton record, as the Tigers defeated St. Louis, 66-50.

UConn jumped back to the top spot at No. 1 with 19 first-place votes and 698 points. Oregon, Oregon State, South Carolina and Stanford round out the top five.

Princeton is 11-1 overall and on a seven-game winning streak. Head coach Carla Berube's squad's only loss is to the defending Big Ten Champion Iowa on the road. The Tigers' RPI is at No. 12 in the country.
