Princeton Receiving Votes Again in USA Today Coaches’ Poll; Mitchell Named GPT Athlete of the Week

Coaches' Poll
PRINCETON, N.J. – For the third straight week, the Princeton Tigers are receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.

The Tigers are receiving four voting points which would be good for 35th among all Division-I teams. One of the other teams receiving votes is Florida Gulf Coast, a team that Princeton took down 67-53 on Nov. 17.

Stanford sits at the top of the poll, jumping from No. 3. Louisville climbed to No. 2, a seven-spot improvement from the week prior. Oregon, Connecticut and Oregon State round out the top five.
Ellie Mitchell was also named the Suburban Transit GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week. She registered a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds in the victory over St. Francis-Brooklyn.

Princeton is currently 6-1 on the season and on a two-game winning streak with victories over Monmouth and St. Francis-Brooklyn. The Tigers head on the road to Marist this Saturday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
