Princeton Collecting Votes In AP Top-25 Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – Fresh off their eighth straight victory, the Princeton Tigers are earning votes for the second straight week in the Associated Press Top-25 poll, the news organization announced today.

Princeton improved from last week, jumping from seven to 10 points and from 31st to 29th in the country. The Tigers had just one game last week, dominating the University of New Hampshire, 77-37, yesterday.

UConn remains at the top of the poll with Oregon, Oregon State and South Carolina behind.

The Tigers are 12-1 overall with their only loss coming to Iowa, the defending Big Ten Champion, on the road. Princeton's RPI is No. 17 in the nation. Head coach Carla Berube's squad starts Ivy League action at Penn on Jan. 11.
