Men's Team's Sweep Highlights Fencers' Trip to Temple

Princeton's fencing teams each battled five opponents at Sunday's Temple Duals in the final competition before the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional next month.
The Tiger men swept their five matches, highlighted by a 14-13 win over Penn State, and the women took one of their five, defeating Johns Hopkins 15-12. The Tiger men, ranked fifth in the country, faced two fellow top-10 teams, also defeating No. 10 Penn, and the women, ranked 10th, faced three in No. 4 Penn State, No. 7 Temple and No. 9 Penn.
Saber Zachary Johnson and foil Cameron Levy, both freshmen, and sophomore foil Julian Knodt co-led the Tiger men with 11 wins apiece, while junior épée Kasia Nixon went 14-1 and senior épée Charlene Liu went 13-2.
