As Racing Season Nears, 3-Time Reigning Ivy Champ Tigers Excited About Talented Class Of 2022
March 01, 2019 | Women's Rowing - Open
When you're on a run like the Princeton open women are currently experiencing — six Ivy League titles over an eight-year span, including each of the last three — you need to have a culture of excellence and an ability to develop and improve each and every year.
Oh, and you need talented rowers. That helps too.
Head coach Lori Dauphiny and her staff has consistently brought in one talented class after another to help continue the tradition of success that Princeton has built over decades. As the calendar turns to March and the official opening to the 2019 season is less than one month away, the Princeton coaches have been excited by what they have seen from the newest class of freshmen. While some will undoubtedly factor into a potential NCAA team, and perhaps even in a varsity boat that tries to bring home a fourth straight Ivy crown, others will use this spring as a developmental time and will make their impact on the program in future years.
It's all part of a process that has been proven successful time and again at Princeton. Here is a look at the recruits who make up the Princeton Open Class of 2022.
