Women's Tennis Tops Rice to Open Weekend

In a battle of top-50 teams, the Princeton women's tennis team won the first of two matches on the weekend, defeating Rice 5-2 in Jadwin Gym.
The Tigers will host William & Mary Sunday at 11 a.m. in Jadwin.
Rice won the doubles point, but the Tigers rebounded by winning the first four singles matches off court, including Stephanie Schrage's win over a top-100 opponent in No. 95 Michael Haet. Brianna Shvets began the streak of wins with Schrage, Clare McKee and Nicole Kalhorn following to clinch it and Grace Joyce adding a fifth win.
