Khosla, Young Open NCAA Championship Weekend, Will Continue With 400 IM/3M Diving Friday

Freshman Raunak Khosla and sophomore Colten Young made their debut at the 2019 NCAA Championships Thursday at the Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas. Though neither earned All-America honors, both will compete two more times this weekend.
Khosla, the Ivy League champion in both the 200 IM and 200 fly, made his overall NCAA Championships debut in the 200 IM Thursday and placed 22nd overall in the event in 1:43.48. The Princeton record holder in both the 200 and 400 IM, Khosla will compete in the latter Friday morning, and then will compete in the 200 fly Saturday.
Young, who did compete at the 2018 NCAA Championships as a freshman, competed in his first NCAA event Thursday when he finished 39th in the 1-meter prelims with 250.05 points. Young, the Ivy League runner-up in both the 1- and 3-meter events this year, will compete in the 3-meter prelims Friday, and then will compete in the platform competition Saturday.
