Mitchell '18 Earns Postgrad Scholarship

Eric Mitchell '18, an All-Ivy League honoree during his time with the Princeton men's golf program, has earned a Knight-Hennessy scholarship at Stanford to pursue a PhD in computer science.
Mitchell was a computer science major at Princeton and an Academic All-Ivy honoree, and he amassed considerable outside experience during and after his time at Princeton, which you can read about in his scholarship bio here.Â
On the course, Mitchell was a second-team All-Ivy League honoree as a sophomore in 2016, finishing sixth at the Ivy League Championships. As a rookie, he won medalist honors at Yale's MacDonald Cup, and as a senior, he won the team's Wohlforth Award, named for the late alumnus Martin "Buff" Wohlforth '76 and given to a team member who through their leadership, integrity and ability have contributed the most to the Princeton golf program.
