Senior Day, No. 16 Columbia Set to Begin Weekend for Men's Tennis Team

Two of the three Ivy-undefeated teams in the league are on the schedule for the 50th-ranked Princeton men's tennis team this weekend as the Ivy League race heads toward the finish.
Friday, Apr. 12 vs. #16 Columbia, 2 p.m.: Live Stats
Sunday, Apr. 14 at Cornell, 1 p.m.: Live Stats
The Tigers are 2-1 in the Ivy with Columbia, Cornell and Harvard all 2-0. Friday's match will be the last of four consecutive Ivy home matches for the Tigers and will mark the last home match of the regular season. The team will recognize its lone senior, Jimmy Wasserman, prior to the match.
Columbia (12-3) has won the last nine against Princeton with the Tigers' last win over the Lions coming in 2011. The team has five players ranked in the ITA's top 125, including No. 18 Jack Lin, No. 39 Victor Pham, No. 111 Jackie Tang, No. 114 Adam Ambrozy and No. 120 Rian Pandole. Tang and Lin are the No. 12-ranked doubles team, Lin and William Matheson are ranked 26th, and Ambrozy and Tang are ranked 61st.
Cornell (11-8) also has ranked players, with David Volfson 34th in singles, and Volfson and Daniel Soyfer ranked 40th in doubles. The Tigers have won the last two over the Big Red, first in an ECAC consolation match last year at Yale and then in the regular-season meeting at Princeton. Though Cornell won the teams' last meeting in Ithaca, in 2017, Princeton won the previous visit there four years ago.
Like their opponents this weekend, the Tigers also have highly-ranked players, with Karl Poling ranked 97th in singles, Payton Holden and Ryan Seggerman rising to 17th in doubles, and Seggerman and Damian Rodriguez 45th in doubles.
Admission to the Tigers' home match is free. Following the weekend, Princeton will head back on the road next weekend to Brown and Yale.
