Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Ford Collects First Career MLB Hit

PRINCETON, N.J. – Mike Ford secured his first career Major League hit yesterday as the Yankees took a 7-6 walk-off win over the Kansas City Royals.
Danny Barnes – Buffalo Bisons – AAA – Barnes had allowed just one earned run in his first four appearances before Pawtucket registered a five-spot on Wednesday. The reliever has seven strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
David Hale – Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders – In his second start of the season, Hale struck out seven hitters in five innings, allowing just one run on two hits. He sits with a 2-0 record, a 1.69 ERA and nine strikeouts in 10 2/3 frames.
Matt Bowman - – Louisville Bats – AAA – Bowman has had seven outings of the bullpen for the Bats, contributing a 3.48 ERA. Three of his appearances have been two or more innings as he secured 13 punchouts.
Alec Keller – Fresno Grizzlies – AAA – Keller hit his first career Triple A home run yesterday as the Grizzlies defeated the Las Vegas Aviators, 9-8. The former Tiger has eight RBI in 14 games for Fresno so far.
