Robinson '18 Signs Training Camp Contract With WNBA's Chicago Sky

PRINCETON, N.J. – Leslie Robinson '18 has signed a training camp contract with the WNBA's Chicago Sky, the team announced.

"When I was younger and growing up in Chicago, the Sky was the first team I really started to follow," said Robinson. "I had a sweatshirt that I wore everywhere, all the time. To have this opportunity to show the team the work I've put in this past year means a lot to me and I can wait to get to Chicago.

Robinson recently played with the Krofdorf Knights of the Bundesliga League in Germany. Last year, the two-time All-Ivy player became the second Ivy League player to have been selected in the WNBA Draft following Allison Feaster (Harvard), who was picked fifth overall in the 1998 draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. The former Tiger was selected 34th overall by the New York Liberty.

A senior captain for the 2018 Ivy League champions, completed the regular season at 10.2 points on 44.3 percent from the floor, along with 7.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.5 steals per game. Her 129 assists were the sixth most in a single-season in program history while her 112 career games are tied for the 10th highest in Princeton history.

Training camp opens on Sunday, May 5. The Sky open the 2019 season on the road against the Minnesota Lynx on May 25.
