Pecotic '13 Returns to Pro Tennis, Wins Tournament in Cancún

Now the holder of a Princeton undergraduate degree and an MBA from Harvard, Matija Pecotic '13, the only player in Ivy League history to be named Ivy Player of the Year three times, has returned to pro tennis and won an event in Cancún, Mexico that wrapped up Sunday.
Pecotic, whose ATP ranking peaked at 206 in November and December 2015, won two qualifying-round matches and then five main-draw matches to win the tournament, defeating Argentinian Camilo Ugo Carabelli 6-2, 6-1 in the final. Six of Pecotic's seven matches ended in straight sets.
