Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Two Alumni Now In MLB

PRINCETON, N.J. – David Hale was called up to the New York Yankees and has made two appearances for the Bronx Bombers so far.
Hale secured a four-inning save at Baltimore on May 21st. The reliever allowed just one earned run as the Yankees won 11-4. He also picked up the victory vs. the San Diego Padres yesterday. He struck out four in four innings as the Yankees defeated Padres, 5-2. It was his 11th career Major League victory.
Matt Bowman – Cincinnati Reds – Bowman was called up to the Reds on May 24th. He's seen action in three games and has not allowed a hit, securing three in 2 2/3 innings.
Mike Ford – Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders – AAA – Ford has produced six hits in his last three games, adding two home runs and four RBI vs. the Syracuse Chiefs. Over his last 10 outings, the former Tiger is hitting .314 with 11 walks. In 27 games with the RailRiders, he has produced a .343/.444/.696 slash line.
Alec Keller – Fresno Grizzlies – AAA – In 43 games for the Grizzlies, Keller has put up a .259/.310/.329 line with two home runs, 14 RBI and three stolen bases.
Danny Barnes - Buffalo Bisons – AAA – Barnes was placed on the seven-day disabled list. In seven games, he's struck out nine hitters and earned a save.
Keelan Smithers – Kingsport Mets – Rookie – Smithers was signed by the New York Mets in January and was assigned to the Kingsport. The Mets' season will start in June.
