May 04, 2019 | Softball
Sunday's single game is set for a 12:30 p.m. start in the season finale for both teams. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats are available here.
In the first game, Princeton used a Kaylee Grant walk and a Keeley Walsh double to get on the board in the top of the first, and the Tigers made it 4-0 in the fifth when hits from Megan Donahey, Allison Harvey, Mackenzie Meyer and Walsh added up to three runs. Harvey and Meyer each had RBI doubles and Walsh had a run-scoring single.Â
Dartmouth got one back in the bottom half of the fifth on a McKenna Gray homer to make it 4-1, but a seven-run sixth inning flipped the game the Big Green's way. Four hits and three walks gave Dartmouth the runs, with two-run singles from Calista Almer, Morgan Ebow and Micah Schroder as the big hits.
Princeton got two runs back in the seventh to make it 8-6, with a Donahey hit, a walk to Grant and an error helping Princeton trim the deficit. Donahey and Walsh had three hits each in the first game with Walsh driving in two of the runs.
