Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Ford Maintains Impressive Start For RailRiders

Mike Ford – Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders – AAA - Ford was sent down to the RailRiders on Saturday and responded with three hits and two runs scored in his first game back. In 10 games with the Yankees, he produced a .378 on-base percentage.
David Hale - Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders – AAA -Hale has been outstanding for the RailRiders in his four starts, contributing a 3-0 record with a 2.38 ERA in 22 2/3 innings. The starter has 20 strikeouts and has allowed opponents to hit just .221 against him.
Matt Bowman – Louisville Bats – AAA – Bowman was called up briefly by the Cincinnati Reds, but did not appear in a game. In 11 outings for the Bats, the reliever has secured a 2.60 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings.
Alec Keller – Fresno Grizzlies – AAA – In 26 games this season with Fresno, Keller has hit .258, adding 15 runs and 10 RBI. He has snagged a hit in four of his last five games recently.
Danny Barnes - Buffalo Bisons – AAA – Barnes was recently placed on the seven-day disabled list. In seven games, he's struck out nine hitters and earned a save.
Keelan Smithers – Kingsport Mets – Rookie – Smithers was signed by the New York Mets in January and was assigned to the Kingsport. The Mets' season will start in June.
