Highlight Week for Tiger Alums in the NWSL

Princeton women's soccer alums made up half the options when the National Women's Soccer League tweeted four choices Monday for its Goal of the Week.
Jen Hoy '13 got it going Friday night with a goal in the second minute of second-half stoppage time to give Sky Blue FC a 1-0 win over the Utah Royals:
Sunday afternoon, Tyler Lussi '17 followed it up with another second-half stoppage-time goal, this one in the fourth minute of stoppage to lift the Portland Thorns to a 4-3 win over the Orlando Pride. That win kept Portland in a tie atop the NWSL with the North Carolina Courage with 22 points at just about the halfway mark of the 22-match season.
Tuesday, Lussi's goal won NWSL Goal of the Week recognition.
