Ten Home Matches, Spring Trip to California Highlight Men's Tennis Team's 2019-20 Schedule

2019-20 Schedule
Ten home dual matches, the spring trip to California and at least 10 matches against teams in the final ITA top-75 highlight the 2019-20 schedule fro the Princeton men's tennis team.
Here are some notes on the slate:
• The 10 matches against teams that ended the 2019 season in the ITA top-75 include: No. 23 N.C. State (home, Feb. 2), No. 66 Old Dominion (home, Feb. 29), No. 68 Middle Tennessee (home, March 1), No. 33 Penn State (away, March 6), No. 25 San Diego (away, March 21), No. 60 Penn (away, March 28), No. 40 Dartmouth (away, April 4), No. 41 Harvard (away, April 5), No. 16 Columbia (away, April 10), and No. 59 Cornell (home, April 12). Princeton finished the season ranked No. 52. Six of the other seven teams in the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic (Feb. 21-22 in Montgomery, Ala.) were in that ranking, including No. 28 Alabama, No. 30 Arizona, No. 70 Fresno St., No. 27 Texas Tech, No. 35 Ole Miss and No. 68 Middle Tennessee.
• The fall schedule includes one home event, with the Farnsworth and Ivy-Plus Invitationals combined and held Sept. 20-22.
• Princeton will also send players to the Milwaukee Tennis Classic (Sept. 20-23), SMU's Rolston/Neufeld Invitational (Nov. 1-3), and the ITF M25 Naples (Oct. 28-Nov. 3), all new events to the schedule. Those fall events join the Farnsworth Ivy-Plus and ITA events on Princeton's schedule.
• Princeton's 10 home matches will include two 10 a.m./3 p.m. doubleheaders, Jan. 26 against Buffalo and Drexel and March 8 against William & Mary and NJIT. The Tigers will also host N.C. State (Feb. 2), Old Dominion (Feb. 29) and Middle Tennessee (March 1), plus Ivy home matches against Cornell, Brown and Yale April 12, 18 and 19.
• The team will head to California for the spring trip for matches against Loyola Marymount (March 17), Pepperdine (March 18) and San Diego (March 21). Princeton will also have a two-match southern swing in February, visiting Clemson (Feb. 7) and Charlotte (Feb. 9), as well as a Jan. 31 Wisconsin doubleheader in Madison against Marquette and host Wisconsin.
