Knez Named NWPC Defensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Antonio Knez was selected as the Northeast Water Polo Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the Collegiate Water Polo Association announced today.
Knez was outstanding against Wagner, stopping 13 saves, a season high, in a 9-3 victory. He also added an assist and steal while producing a .813 save percentage. He made 10 more stops in a 12-10 win over Navy. For the season, Knez is 3-3 overall with a .561 save percentage.
It's the freshman's first weekly honor. Princeton takes part in the prestigious MPSF Invitational starting on Friday vs. USC.
