Walton Leads Tigers Entering Sunday's Final Round at Princeton Invite

Senior Maya Walton is the top Tiger as the Princeton women's golf team stands third at the Princeton Invitational heading into Sunday's final round.

Tee times will begin Sunday at Springdale Golf Club at 8:30 a.m. with Princeton beginning to tee off at 10 a.m.

Seton Hall leads the event at -5 with an eight-stroke lead over Penn. Princeton is one stroke back of the Quakers at +4.

Yale's Ami Gianchandani, the event's defending medalist, is atop the individual leaderboard at -5 with a one-stroke lead over Seton Hall's Samantha Staudt. The Pirates' Madeline Sager is third at -3, and Walton and Dartmouth's Samantha Yao are tied for fourth at -3, two strokes off the lead. During the first round, Tiger sophomore Sophie Siminoff eagled the par-5 third hole, helping her stand tied for 11th at +3.
