Alarie and Team USA Finish Third At FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Stop In Montreal

MONTREAL – Bella Alarie and Team U.S.A. finished third in in the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop in Montreal this weekend.

Alarie and her teammates, Aleah Goodman, Michaela Onyenwere and Christyn Williams went 1-2 in pool play, dropping games vs. the Netherlands (16-13) and Canada (21-13), but winning against Mexico (21-1).

In the quarterfinals, the United States upset Poland (21-15), however lost to Canada (21-16) in the semifinals. Canada took down Japan (21-13) in the final.

It's been a U.S.A. type of summer for Alarie as the two-time Ivy Player of the Year helped her country earn a silver medal at the Pan American Games. She also led her team make the semifinals at the 3x3 stop in Italy, the quarterfinals in China and the semifinals at the national event in Las Vegas.
