Women's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Schedule

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Basketball Team has released its 2026-27 schedule, head coach Lauren Gosselin has announced.
The Tigers will take on 14 postseason teams including five NCAA Tournament squads highlighted by a trip to California to take on the defending national champion UCLA Bruins.
"Our 2026-27 schedule reflects the championship mentality of this program, said Gosselin. "If we want to reach our fullest potential, we have to compete against the best. Our non-conference schedule will test us immediately against some of the most successful programs in the country and prepare us to defend our Ivy League Championship while building a resume worthy of postseason competition. We are excited for the challenge ahead and hope to see Tiger fans filling Jadwin and supporting us on the road all season long!"
The season begins at Jadwin Gym on Nov. 2 as the Tigers take on Belmont, a team won 20 games and went 16-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference last season.
Through an Ivy League scheduling alliance with the Missouri Valley and Atlantic 10 conferences, the Tigers will battle the Richmond Spiders (Nov. 6) and Murray State Racers (Nov. 8) in Richmond. The Spiders won 26 games in 2025-26, reaching the A-10 Championship game before securing an NCAA at-large bid. The Racers corralled 31 victories along with the Missouri Valley regular season and conference tournament titles.
The Villanova Wildcats come to Jadwin Gym on Nov. 10. Villanova reached the Big Eat Championship game en route to a NCAA nomination last year.
Princeton heads out to California for two contests at Pepperdine (Nov. 13) and at UCLA (Nov. 15). Pepperdine snagged 21 victories and a trip to the WNIT Super 16 in the previous campaign while UCLA sits with a 31-game winning streak.
A home stretch that features George Mason (Nov. 18), Georgia Tech (Nov. 22), and Rutgers (Nov. 25) gets the Tigers through Thanksgiving.
George Mason shared the A-10 regular season crown with Rhode Island but lost to the Rams in the tournament championship game, obtaining a WBIT appearance. Princeton and George Mason met for the first time in program history last season with the Tigers rallying from seven down with 25 seconds to go to force overtime before Ashley Chea's game-winner with three seconds remaining.
Georgia Tech nabbed an WBIT selection last season. Last year, the Yellow Jackets and Tigers met in the season opener which the Tigers took home a 67-61 victory.
Gosselin's unit travels to Seton Hall on Dec. 2. The Pirates collected 19 wins and a WBIT bit. Princeton heads to Texas for two games vs. Rice (Dec. 5) and Houston Christian (Dec. 7). Rice was 29-6 in 2025-26, winning 19 games in the American Conference, but lost in the tournament championship game, earning a WBIT appearance.
The Rhode Island Rams begins a stretch of five consecutive home games for Princeton on Dec. 10. The Rams were 28-5 last season including a 14-1 mark at home with their lone home loss coming to Princeton. Rhode Island won an NCAA bid after beating George Mason in the A-10 final.
The Tigers welcome Portland (Dec. 13) and Oregon State (Jan. 1) to wrap up non-conference play. Both teams were in the WBIT with Portland reaching the Super 16.
Penn (Jan. 5) and Yale (Jan. 9) start off Ivy play at Jadwin before a trip to Harvard (Jan. 16) and Dartmouth (Jan. 18). Harvard recorded 20 wins in 2025-26 along with a WBIT quarterfinals appearance.
The following week, Brown comes to Jadwin Gym (Jan. 23) before three road games at Cornell (Jan. 29), Columbia (Jan. 30) and Penn (Feb. 6). Columbia won the WBIT title in 2026.
Princeton takes on Cornell (Feb. 12) and Columbia (Feb. 13) at home before heading to Brown (Feb. 20). The home finale weekend features Harvard (Feb. 26) and Dartmouth (Feb. 27) with the regular season finale at Yale (Mar. 6).
The Ivy League Tournament is at the Palestra in Philadelphia (Mar. 12-13).
