Walker Gillespie Gathers TopDrawerSoccer & CollegeSoccerNews Honors

PRINCETON – Freshman forward Walker Gillespie added more honors to his impressive rookie campaign for the Tigers with selections to the CollegeSoccerNews All-Freshman Team and a spot on TopDrawerSoccer.com's Top-100 Freshman list.
Gillespie was named first-team All-Northeast Region in December, adding to his resume which included a first-team All-Ivy selection in November.
Gillespie was the first Tiger freshman since Mark Linnville '13 in 2009 to earn first-team All-Ivy honors, doing so in a season that saw him score a team-best seven goals including one against No. 22 Virginia Tech as Princeton beat a top-25 team for the second straight year. Gillespie's goals came across six games, including two goals against Saint Joseph's, as he played in all 17 games and started 14 in his rookie season.
