January 23, 2020 | Men's Water Polo
PRINCETON, N.J. – Logan MacDonell has been honored with the Scott A. Roche '94 Memorial Water Polo Award.
The Roche '94 Award is awarded annually by election of the team to the senior player or players who, like Scott, lead with energy and determination, intense competition spirit and a contagious love of the game.
"We are more than pleased to honor Logan with this very deserving award," said head coach Dustin Litvak. "He did a tremendous job leading our young group this year and remained positive every day, even after a tough loss. Logan is an exceptional young man with great character and a pleasure to be around. We will miss him being on the pool deck every day but look forward to following his journey after he graduates. His impact on this program will far outlast his time here."
MacDonell contributed 19 goals, five assists, six steals and 46 drawn ejections in 2019 as the Tigers won 16 games and reached the NWPC Championship game for the third straight year. For his career, the senior appeared in 109 games, snagging 45 goals, 15 assists and 88 drawn ejections while helping the Tigers to the 2018 NWPC title.
