February 24, 2020 | Women's Basketball
PRINCETON, N.J. – Bella Alarie was honored as the Ivy League Player of the Week for the second time this season following her performances vs. Harvard and Dartmouth this past weekend.
Â
It's the 19th time that Alarie has collected an Ivy weekly honor. She's already the program's all-time leader in POTW accolades and trails just Allison Feaster '98 of Harvard (21) for the conference mark.
Â
The two-time Ivy Player of the Year was outstanding vs. Harvard, dropping in 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting, adding six rebounds and two steals as the Tigers dropped the Crimson. Alarie was even better vs. Dartmouth, recording a season-high 28 points on 11-of-21 from the floor. She knocked down two treys and grabbed 12 caroms as well.
Â
Princeton's winning streak is now at 17. The Tigers are 21-1 overall and 9-0 in the Ivy League. Head coach Carla Berube's unit welcomes Penn to Jadwin Gym tomorrow. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
