No. 20 Princeton's Win Streak Climbs To Five With Victory Over Villanova

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 20 Princeton Tigers earned their fifth straight victory as they took down the Villanova Wildcats, 14-6, at DeNunzio Pool on Friday evening.
The Tigers used a strong six-goal first quarter to take a four-goal advantage into the second stanza. Princeton pitched a shutout in the second frame and held an 8-2 lead at halftime. The Tigers kept the Wildcats at bay in the second half, scoring four of the five tallies, holding a 12-3 lead into the final eight minutes.
Amy Castellano recorded a hat trick, adding two assists. Mindy Pang posted the first two goals of her collegiate career while Jamie Kim also snagged her first collegiate tally in the win. Princeton finishes the weekend at George Washington tomorrow (12 p.m.).
