Men's Swimming & Diving Finishes Second at Ivy League Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team had a stellar final day the Ivy League Championships as the Tigers earned a second-place finish at Blodgett Pool.
Raunak Khosla and Derek Cox both added another title to their respective resumes while Dylan Porges also earned a first-palce finish for the Tigers. Princeton ended the meet with 1231 points, narrowly trailing Harvard University who had 1439. Yale University finished third with 1027.5 points.
Princeton also picked up a pair of major individual awards; Kholsa was honored as High Point Swimmer of the Meet and Charlie Minns Career High Point Diver.
1,650 Freestyle
Dylan Porges earned a first-place finishing, clocking in at an NCAA B cut time of 15:07.07 and John Ehling touched the wall at an NCAA B cut time of 15:14.95 to finish fifth, which also saw him move into Princeton's all-time top-10. Levy Nathan also earned an NCAA B cut, finishing sixth with a time of 15:16.09 and Brandon Firlie finished eighth in 15:21.99, also an NCAA B cut.
With a time of 15:37.80, Peyton Werner finished 18th and Arthur Markley finished 19th in 15:39.61.
200 Backstroke
Matthew Marquardt finished 21st in a time of 1:48.77.
100 Freestyle
Max Walther finished 14th in 44.60 and Charles Leibson 16th in 44.91.
200 Breaststroke
Cox earned his second title of the meet, touching the wall at an NCAA B cut time of 1:55.70, the third-fastest time in school history. Corey Lau finished fifth in 1:58.56, moving into Princeton's all-time top-10. With a time of 2:01.25, Daniel Arris finished 22nd.
200 Butterfly
Khosla added another title in the 200 butterfly, finishing in an NCAA B cut time of 1:42.43. Nicholas Lim also earned an NCAA B cut, finishing 10th in 1:45.90, Marquardt finished 14th in 1:49.39 and Markley 16th in 1:56.39.
3-Meter Diving
Colten Young finished second with a score of 366.80 and Charlie Minns third in 358.90.
400 Freestyle Relay
Princeton finished fourth after Walther, Khosla, Leibson and Cox clocked in at 2:57.40.
