Alarie Named Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Semifinalist

PRINCETON, N.J. – Bella Alarie has been named a semifinalist for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Semifinalists presented by Her Hoop Stats, the organization announced today.

Alarie is averaging 17.8 points on 49.7 percent shooting in 12 games this year. She's also knocking down over half her three-pointers at 51.9 percent clip. The two-time Ivy League Player of the Year is contributing 8.4 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.8 assists per contest as well.

This is the sixth watch/preseason list that Alarie is on. The others include the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award, "Wade Watch", Women's Citizen's Naismith Trophy, Wooden and McClain Awards.

Princeton is 15-1 overall, on an 11-game winning streak and 3-0 in the Ivy League. The Tigers welcome Cornell (Feb. 7) and Columbia (Feb. 8) to Jadwin this weekend.
