February 04, 2020 | Women's Lacrosse
PRINCETON - For the second year in a row, the annual regular season battle between Princeton and Penn in women's lacrosse will be broadcast to a national television audience as the game will be featured on ESPNU. With the national TV pickup, opening draw has been moved to 8 p.m. at Class of 1952 Stadium. The game is 1 of 13 women's lacrosse contests selected to air nationally on ESPN's linear television networks and the only Ivy League game chosen.
Last year, Princeton defeated the Quakers on ESPNU from Franklin Field, 13-11, en route to its sixth consecutive Ivy League championship.
The Tigers enter 2020 ranked No. 6 in all three Preseason Polls, and line up three Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans in Marge Donovan, Kyla Sears and Sam Fish.
Practices are underway for the program, with opening day set for February 15 against Temple in Philly. The home opener for the Tigers is February 22 against No. 8 Virginia at 1 p.m.
