Alarie and Berube Collect ECAC Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. - Bella Alarie was named to the ECAC First Team while Carla Berube was honored as the ECAC Coach of the Year, the organization announced today.
Alarie was named a WBCA Regional Finalist for Coaches' All-America this year. She has already earned AP and USBWA Honorable Mention All-America as well. This is Berube's second honor this season as she picked up Ivy Coach of the Year.
The senior captain averaged 17.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 2.3 assists in 23 games this season, adding 10 20+ point outings. She led the Ivy League in scoring, was second in rebounding and blocks, fourth in field goal percentage and eighth in free throw percentage.
The Tigers finished the regular season at 26-1 overall and on a 22-game winning streak. Their win streak is the second longest in the NCAA behind No. 1 South Carolina. Princeton also had the No. 9 NCAA RPI, the highest in Ivy history.
