"150 Years of Princeton Football" Video Series Named Finalist For SVG College Sports Media Awards

A video series 150 years in the making, Princeton Athletics' five-part documentary about the history and tradition of Princeton Football has been named a finalist for a 2020 SVG College Sports Media Awards.

"150 Years Of Princeton Football" is one of 13 finalists in the "Outstanding Program Series – Collegiate Athletics" category which features multi-part series produced entirely by athletic department staff.

The only video produced by an Ivy League athletic department among the finalists across all categories, "150 Years of Princeton Football" marks the second time in three years that Princeton has had a video included among the finalists for a SVG College Sports Media Award.

Conceived to commemorate Princeton's role in the first collegiate football game and its contributions to the evolution of the game to celebrate the 150th anniversary of college football, "150 Years Of Princeton Football" was produced by Cody Chrusciel, Assistant Director of Athletics/Multimedia & Broadcasting alongside Stanton Hunter, an assistant with live event production for Princeton Athletics. John Bullis, Assistant Director, Athletics Multimedia and Production, served as a videographer for the series, while Jared Montano, Director of Football Creative Content, provided archival research support.
In 2018, Pressing Forward: Valerie, Justin, and Joe Percival was named a finalist for a SVG College Sports Media Award.
The 2020 SVG College Sports Media Awards will be presented on June 25.
