Jeffrey Sexton Named Ivy Special Teams Player and Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Following his game-winning kick vs. No. 25 Monmouth, Jeffrey Sexton was honored as the Ivy League Special Teams Player and Rookie of the Week.

Sexton, with the wind in his face, knocked in a 35-yard field goal with 10 seconds left to give Princeton the 31-28 decision over Monmouth. The freshman has knocked in eight straight field goals to begin his career and has missed just one PAT in 14 attempts. Sexton has made three field goals over 40 yards including a season-best 46-yarder at Monmouth.
