Men's Soccer Readies For Columbia Saturday; Kickoff Moved To 3 P.M.

Princeton returns to Sherrerd Field on Saturday, hosting Columbia as part of Alumni Weekend. Kickoff for the men's game is at 4 p.m. with the women's game to follow at 7 p.m. The first 100 Princeton students in attendance will receive a free Princeton Soccer scarf!
The Tigers are 2-0-0 to open Ivy League play, sitting tied atop the Ancient Eight alongside Cornell. This marks the first time since 2010 that Princeton has claimed six points over its first two Ivy matches. That 2010 team went 7-0-0 in Ivy play to claim an Ivy title and qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
Princeton enters the weekend with one of the more aggressive attacks in the country, ranking No. 16 in the country in shots-per-game (15.8) and No. 12 in the country in shots on goal-per-game (7.1).
The Ivy League's two best defensive units are set to do battle, as Columbia enters the weekend No. 1 in the conference in team GAA (1.03), while Princeton is No. 2 (1.19).
Senior Kevin O'Toole has taken off during Ivy play, connecting for one goal and three assists over the two Ivy matches so far this season. His five points lead all Ivy League players duing conference play.
