Three From Women's Tennis Advance to Semis at ITA Super Regionals

PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior No. 102 Brianna Shvets, junior Daria Frayman and freshman Victoria Hu of the Princeton University women's tennis team each earned a spot in the singles semifinals at the 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Women's Northeast Super Regional Championships Saturday at the Lenz Tennis Center.

In the Round of 16, Shvets overcame Lan Mi of Cornell, 7-5, 6-2, then following with a 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 quarterfinal victory over No. 111 Iulia Bryzgalova of Penn. Frayman downed Mouna Bouzgarrou of St. John's 6-1, 6-4 in the Round of 16, then triumphed 6-4, 7-5 over Chelsea Kung of Yale in the quarterfinals. Hu opened her day with a 7-6 (2) victory over Boston University's Kaitlin Tan in the Round of 16, then defeated Sabine Rutlauka of Penn 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 in the quarterfinals.
