Jack Roberts Named Ivy League Player Of The Week

For the second consecutive week, a Princeton men's soccer player has earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors, as Jack Roberts was selected.
Roberts earned an Ivy League weekly award for the first time in his career by posting an 11-save effort in Princeton's 2-1 win over No. 20 Cornell on Saturday. With the win, Roberts set a new career-high in saves in a game.
Roberts has helped the Tigers to an Ivy-best .992 goals-against average, and his personal .950 GAA is best in the Ivy League.
More importantly, Roberts' efforts against the Big Red kept the Tigers unbeaten and untied in the Ivy League with a 5-0-0 record. Entering the penultimate weekend of the regular season, the Tigers are alone in first place with 15 points, four points ahead of second-place Yale (3-0-2). With a win this weekend, the Tigers can secure an outright Ivy League championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
The Tigers head to Philly to take on Penn on November 6. Kickoff with the Quakers is set for 7 p.m. at Rhodes Field.
