PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's swimming and diving team will host their first meet of the 2021 season, as they welcome Rutgers to DeNunzio Pool on Saturday. Meet time is set for 12:00 PM.
On the Tigers
Princeton is 2-0 on the season, after defeating Brown (192-105) and Dartmouth (223-75) in a tri-meet this past weekend. The Tigers won both the 200-medley and 400 free relays last week, while finishing first in seven individual events.
Princeton's freshman divers also impressed over the weekend, with Maddie Seltzer winning the 1-meter and Julia Fidanza placing second in the 3-meter.
On the Scarlet Knights
Rutgers is 2-2 on the season in dual meets, in addition to placing second at the Colgate Invitational. The Scarlet Knights most recent meet was on Friday, November 5th against Harvard; Rutgers would fall to the Crimson 170-129.
The last time that Princeton and Rutgers met was in 2019, a meet the Scarlet Knights would win 163-137.
