Men's Water Polo To Host Fordham In NCAA Tournament on Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 13 Princeton Tigers will host the No. 19 Fordham Rams in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA announced last night.
The Tigers and Rams will meet at DeNunzio Pool on Saturday (Nov. 27). Time will be announced later. Those two squads have already met this season with Princeton taking a 13-6 victory.
These two squads made the NCAA Tournament by winning their respective conference crowns. Princeton defeated St. Francis-Brooklyn yesterday, 9-6, for the program's sixth conference title. Fordham defeated Navy, 9-6, to claim the MAWPC championship and clinch the team's first NCAA appearance.
The winner of the Princeton and Fordham contest will go on to battle UCLA on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. The national semifinals and championship game are on Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 at the Speiker Aquatics Center in Los Angeles. The other teams in the NCAA Tournament are Long Beach State, UC Davis, USC and California.
