Men's Water Polo Cleans Up NWPC Tournament Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers cleaned up the Northeast Water Polo Conference Tournament awards and earned four All-Tournament selections, the CWPA announced.
Keller Maloney was named the Most Valuable Player while Roko Pozaric earned the Rookie of the Tournament and Dustin Litvak was named the Dick Russell Coach of the Tournament.
Maloney was named First-Team All-Tournament along with Vladan Mitrovic and Antonio Knez. Maloney registered a hat trick in both games, adding four drawn ejections. Mitrovic put up a hat trick in the NWPC Championship. Knez combined for 24 stops in the Tigers' two games including 15 against St. Francis-Brooklyn.
Pozaric collected three goals and two assists while contributing three drawn ejections and eight sprint victories during the tournament.
Mitchell Cooper was Second-Team All-Tournament, corralling three goals, five assists. He had a six-point performance vs. Brown in the NWPC Semifinals.
It's the sixth time that the Tigers have won a conference championship. Princeton last won the NWPC title in 2018, defeating Harvard. It was also the team's 25th win, tying the program mark set by the 2004 squad that won the CWPA Eastern crown and placed fourth at NCAAs.
