No. 11 Princeton Wraps Up Regular Season With Two NWPC Battles At Home

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 11 Princeton Tigers finish the regular season with two contests at DeNunzio Pool vs. the St. Francis-Brooklyn Terriers (12 p.m.) and the Iona Gaels on Saturday (6 p.m.) on Saturday.
Princeton sits at the top of the Northeast Water Polo Conference with a 7-1 record. Harvard is second at 6-2 followed by Brown and St. Francis at 5-3. The Tigers can clinch the No. 1 seed with two victories on Saturday.
Prior to the Iona game, head coach Dustin Litvak's squad will honor its five seniors, Ned Bless, Wyatt Benson, Mitchell Cooper, Miles Wilson, and Billy Motherway. That group has helped Princeton win 57 games and the 2018 NWPC Championship.
The Tigers had a 3-0 NWPC weekend to end of the month of October with decisions over No. 11 Harvard, MIT, and Brown. It was the first time that Princeton defeated Harvard since the 2018 NWPC Championship.
Roko Pozaric paces the Tigers' offense with 55 goals and 35 assists. Keller Maloney is right behind him with 52 tallies and 34 helpers. The Tigers have 11 more players with at least 10 goals in George Caras (33), Mason Killion (31), Benson (27), Cooper (24), Vladan Mitrovic (23), Yurian Quinones (23), Joan Coloma (19), Ryan Neapole (16), Pierce Maloney (11) and Isaac Rotenberg (11).
In goal, the Tigers have two tremendous goalies in Motherway and Antonio Knez. Motherway is 10-1 with in 11 starts with a .547 save percentage while Knez is 12-5 with 155 saves this season.
