Men's Lightweight Rowing Unveils 2022 Schedule

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton's men's lightweight rowing team has unveiled its 2022 schedule.
The Tigers start the season with two road races at Navy for the Murtaugh Cup and at Georgetown for the Fosburgh Cup on Mar. 26.
Head coach Marty Crotty's crew is back on the road for a contest at Columbia (Apr. 2) before welcoming Delaware, Dartmouth and Temple to Lake Carnegie (Apr. 9). Princeton and Cornell battle for the Platt Cup on Apr. 16 on the lake one week later.
Penn and Georgetown also make the trip to Princeton with the Wood-Hammond Cup on the line Apr. 23. The regular season concludes with Harvard and Yale at Lake Carnegie for the Goldthwait and Vogel Cups.
The Eastern Sprints are on May 15 with the IRA Championships following from June 3-5.
Princeton raced a shorten schedule in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, defeating Temple before earning silver and bronze medals at the IRA Championships.
