Pozaric and Maloney Earn All-America Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Roko Pozaric and Keller Maloney of the men's water polo team were named Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Americans today.
Pozaric earned third-team accolades while Maloney was an honorable mention selection. It's the first All-American honors for each player.
Pozaric has already earned NWPC Rookie of the Year and First-Team All-Conference. The freshman has burst onto the scene in incredible fashion, dropping in a team-high 68 goals, 41 assists, 41 steals and 39 drawn ejections. He's lost just nine sprints in 114 attempts. He had 11 hat tricks this season including a six-goal outing vs. No. 16 Bucknell.
Maloney was also picked as First-Team All-Conference. Maloney was second on the squad with 67 tallies and third in assists (37). He's also contributed 45 drawn ejections, 23 steals and 18 blocks. The junior has nearly doubled his career goal output while producing a .540 shooting this year. He ended the year with four hat tricks in the last five games, pushing his total this year to 12.
Head coach Dustin Litvak's team's 26 victories (26-7) were a new program record. Princeton defeated Brown and then St. Francis-Brooklyn to earn the Northeast Water Polo Conference title, collecting the team's sixth conference crown. The Tigers had 11 wins against nationally ranked opponents include a California trip that featured three straight victories over No. 17 Loyola Marymount, No. 10 Pepperdine, and No. 13 UC Irvine.
